Sours are a class of cocktails that have been around for almost 200 years – and there’s a good reason why. Crown Royal’s delicately creamy and full-bodied flavor perfectly pairs with citrus juice, cranberry bitters and an optional egg white foam for a cocktail that’s easy to enjoy while unwrapping presents or watching your favorite holiday movies.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz. Crown Royal Deluxe Blended Whiskey
- 0.5 oz. Orange Juice
- 0.5 oz. Lemon Juice
- 0.5 oz. Simple Syrup
- 0.5 oz. Egg White (Optional)
- 3 Dashes Cranberry Bitters
- Rosemary Sprig Garnish
Directions
- Combine whiskey, orange juice, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white (optional) in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake until thoroughly chilled and strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Top with three dashes of cranberry bitters and garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig.
